08/16/2002:
Yesterday was my annual trip to Chicago. It was good, the only annoyance was that they no longer allow the riff-raff in to the viewing galleries of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. It's all part of the grand theater known as "heightened security." Ummm-hmm. Yeaaahhhh. How are we supposed to marvel at the chaotic craziness driving the markets now? Listening to the farm report is just NOT the same...
I did get to hear some traders talking about how they made $1.5M the day before though... all for the company, alas.
My own work has just been crazy busy, hence my absence here...
